Decision Taken On Providing Additional Fodder To Cattle In Fodder Camps

Implement an automated system to manage cattle attendance and tracking at fodder camps—Government’s Directive Mumbai: The Government of Maharashtra which has started the Cattle Camps in the drought-affected areas has taken a decision to increase the quantity of fodder for the cattle at these camps. Along with this, the government has decided to computerize the counting techniques used to keep track of the number of cattle coming to these camps on the day to day basis. This decision was taken on Sunday by an official notification issued by the government. As per this new notification the Government has decided to increase the quantity of fodder. The notification further says that big cattle which used to be provided with 15 kgs of green hay and sugar cane, now will be provided with 18 kgs of green hay and sugarcane. The Revenue Minister and Guardian Minister of Kolhapur District Chandrakant Patil  informed that there will be the composition of a committee to set up and start the Varna water supply scheme approved by the government’s Amrit scheme for Ichalkaranji city. Gadhinglaj Municipal Corporation is allowed to extend with the addition of a consecutive area of Badyachiwadi. This decision is theoretically sanctioned by district Guardian Minister  Chandrakant Dada Patil   in one of the meetings held today. President of Pune MHADA Samarjitsinh Ghatge has urged government for this demand. There are 25 to 30 colonies present in the Badyachivadi Gram Panchayat area surrounding to Gadhinglaj city. Badyachivadi village is 4 km away from Gadhinglaj city.  This village is connected to the Gadhinglaj city and people need to visit Gadhinglaj city for different things.  This area was under the control of Zilla Parishad, a municipal corporation which was not able to provide facilities such as water supply, drainage management, garbage collection in this area. Fourth World Disaster Management Congress based on the concept of — ‘Future we want — Bridging the gap between promises and action’ is organized at Mumbai IIT for discussion and research on disaster prevention.
