The Revenue, Agriculture and PWD Department’s head, Guardian Minister of Kolhapur and Pune district, Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Bachhu Patil is celebrating his 60th Birthday on 10th June 2019. No show-off, no advertisement campaigns, no publicity stunts… This is the journey of a person from labour’s family, a full-time activist of ABVP and now the person honoured with multiple department’s headships in Maharashtra state cabinet. Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil is originally from Khanapur, Bhudargad Taluka, Kolhapur District. His father was a labourer at a mill in Mumbai. He has experienced a childhood in the labour family which was a difficult one. In 1980, after completing B. Com he started working for ABVP. Later in 1982, he was appointed as the ‘Pradesh Mantri’.
