The Revenue, Agriculture and PWD Department’s head, Guardian Minister of Kolhapur and Pune district, Honourable  Mr Chandrakant Dada Bachhu Patil  is celebrating his 60th Birthday on 10th June 2019.   Isn’t it the best occasion to revise his glorious, enriching journey? No show-off, no advertisement campaigns, no publicity stunts… This is the journey of a person from labour’s family, a full-time activist of ABVP and now the person honoured with multiple department’s headships in Maharashtra state cabinet. Honourable  Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil  is originally from Khanapur, Bhudargad Taluka, Kolhapur District. His father was a labourer at a mill in Mumbai. Mr.Chandrakant Patil On Maharashtra State Is Declared with Maximum Funds for Drought Relief

Today the Central Government declared Rs 4714 Crore 28 Lakh fund for drought relief in Maharashtra. This amount is declared in the first step and the State Government is going to take follow-up for the remaining amount to combat drought condition. As the State Government is committed to support farmers, if required the farmers will be supported by State Government till then; this information was shared by Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister , Mr Chandrakant Patil. The Central Government has declared 4714 Crore 28 Lakh Rupee fund for the Drought Relief Program in Maharashtra. This decision was taken at the meeting conducted by Central Home Minister, Mr Rajnath Singh.  Mr. Patil added that the drought situation has risen in Maharashtra due to below average rains in the month of August and September.  The State Government has declared 151 Tehsil affected by drought and an amount of Rs 7950 Crore was been asked for these drought-affected Tehsils. To resolve the problem of women who stay in the area where there is a huge scarcity of water or the village is suffering from drought, and also for uniform and genuine distribution of tanker water, Rehabilitation Minister,   Mr Chandrakant Patil   and the president of committee took one significant decision to help the victims of natural disasters. This decision is about the installation and mounting of 10,000-liter capacity plastic water tanks in drought-affected villages. Fourth World Disaster Management Congress based on the concept of — ‘Future we want — Bridging the gap between promises and action’ is organized at Mumbai IIT for discussion and research on disaster prevention. The conference is organized from 29th January to 1st February 2019.  The Maharashtra State Government is the main organizer for the event.  The conference will be attended by 1500 representatives from more than a hundred countries in the world. The first meeting of the steering committee constituted for the conference was chaired by the Minister of Finance and Relief  Mr. Chandrakant Patil.
