Chandrakant Patil On Restrooms along roadsides
Indians love travelling, and the journey depends on so many things like good roads, clean restrooms at the highways and so on. We all have been there at times we have felt the need for good facilities along the roadsides. To resolve this challenge, the Maharashtra Government announced that, 100 petrol pumps along the State Highway would mandatorily keep space for public toilets, restrooms. Internet, Restaurants, ATM Facilities, Parking facilities, and Telephone facilities which were also included to be present as the necessities, besides the highways. With around 300 more petrol pump locations, these facilities are likely to be installed.
Sri Chandrakant Dada Patil Is a social politician who is well known for his honest work. He is called ‘The man of words’, with his efforts appreciated by the people of Maharashtra State. To discuss the importance of good facilities along the roadsides, a meeting was conducted, it was attended by the ministers like Mr. Chandrakant Patil (PWD Minister), Mr. Ram Shinde (Minister- Water Conservation), Mr. Manukumar Shrivastav (Principal Secretary-Urban Development), Mr. Ashish Kumar Singh (Principal Secretary — PWD), Delegates of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum and other senior officers were also present to discuss and plan its execution.
Public Works Department Minister, Shri Chandrakant Patil said that public toilets are not available everywhere except the bus-stands, therefore traveling through the highways becomes inconvenient particularly for ladies. To overcome this downside, there is a need to plan nearly four hundred bathrooms at each five hundred meters on the state highway. The construction conditions like style and size of the bathrooms and this facility should be convenient for all.
This clearly indicates that Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil Ji has been a man of dignity. His service in each of his department of ministry can be pronounced to be sterling. This is commendable as the factors which were unseen by earlier officials and ministers are being taken care of with great importance. Hygiene cannot be a simple factor and should be dealt with the way it is being looked after during this Government.
