A task in itself
Sri Chandrakant Patil being a senior BJP member and the Revenue Minister had to face the heat of opposition and many others during this bill, but he stood firm. He always said he is confident of giving reservations to Maratha Community. But he is making sure of not disturbing the existing OBC quota. During this period, he shared that, his committee is confident that reservation’s decision with the support of the backward commission report will surely stand in the court and this would provide a group of renowned lawyers to support the government’s quota decisions. Therefore, people should not worry about the tenability of reservation decisions at all.
